 Client Study – Royal Bank of Canada

Challenge:      The Royal Bank of Canada was experiencing difficulty understanding, processing and allocating the monthly charges billed by one of its major telecommunications providers.

Solution:         Having already worked with AERYX to streamline the monthly billing charges provided by its largest vendor, Royal Bank turned to AERYX to assist with this new challenge.

After meeting with the vendor, AERYX developed the processes and programs to receive and process a monthly electronic data feed from the vendor’s billing system. After testing this new process, AERYX was able to provide Royal Bank with a monthly bill of charges that matched the bank’s requirements for processing and cost allocation.  Thanks to this AERYX solution, the bank was able to significantly reduce the time and effort involved in analyzing the vendor’s bills while being assured of the integrity of the information billed.


Client Study – Tim Hortons

Challenge:      Tim Hortons, one of North America’s largest coffee and fresh baked goods chains, was having difficulty finding and retaining good quality employees in Canada.

Solution:         Tim Hortons worked with AERYX to design and implement a survey that was sent to all franchisees. Survey participants were asked to rate the satisfaction and effectiveness of various employment recruitment and retention strategies.

Using technologybased data analysis tools, AERYX was able to quickly tabulate and analyze the results of the survey. With a participation rate of over 60%, the analytical results provided Tim Hortons with invaluable information on how to focus their store worker recruitment and retention strategies.


Client Study – Ontario Municipal Elections

Challenge:      With rapidly declining voter turnout for Municipal Elections, several municipalities in the province of Ontario were looking for an easier and more technologically advanced way for voters to cast their votes.

Solution:         AERYX was chosen as the Supplier of Choice for the ‘Ontario Municipal Election Televote’ project. Without the use of ballot boxes and without the need for volunteers and facilities – mayors, deputy-mayors and councillors of these municipalities were voted into office completely by telephone. Across the 13 participating municipalities, over 500,000 voters participated  – a record number.


Client Study – Trent Health Insurance Services

Challenge:      Trent Health wanted to offer its customers the opportunity to request a travel medical insurance quote, 24 hours a day / 7 days a week.

Solution:         AERYX developed, implemented and managed an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system that allowed potential travelers the ability to record the particular of their travel itinerary in order to generate a quote for travel medical insurance.

Using this system, Trent Health offered customers the ability to request a travel insurance quote at any time of the day whether live operators are available or not.
